Amanda dreamed of becoming a nurse since she was about two years old. She received her Bachelor's degree in nursing with high honors from Illinois State University and worked in many nursing specialties including Med-Surg Telemetry, Palliative Care, Forensic Nursing & Trauma as both a staff nurse & a travel nurse. She's also held certifications including: CCRN, CEN & TNCC
After travel nursing she settled in the New England area to obtain a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia. She has since moved back home to Illinois where she works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing a variety of anesthetics in various hospitals, offices & surgi-centers. Now, she is sharing all her knowledge and resources post graduation to help RN's & SRNA's thrive on their journey to CRNA.
"My passion has always been to help others which is why I became a nurse. However, after finishing such a grueling program [nurse anesthesia school] I realized I could also help the future of nurse anesthesia by offering up all my strategies, notes and tricks. It's a tough few years from getting accepting into CRNA school to completing a program, and if I can give RN's & SRNA's back a little time and sanity then it makes my journey even more worth it."
